Cop gets caught for smuggling alcohol from Pondy

What is Pondicherry famous for? The ethinicity, the beaches, colonial nostalgia. . who are we kidding. For youngsters of the state it’s the liquor heaven. Remember those times when you and your friends in a hazy stupour getting scared about getting caught by police? Guess what, for once the tables have turned, and unfortunately for the worser.
A Tamil Nadu sub-inspector Rajkumar was arrested for trying to smuggle liquor out of Pondichery to a wedding. Too bad, ain’t it? Police had seized 170 liquor bottle from the criminal(police?) at Kamban Nagar. Rajkumar has been suspended and a probe has been ordered into the issue.
It’s a known fact that liquor in Pondicherry are sold at a cheaper rate. But bad luck for the (cheapo) cop. On a totally unrelated note, ever wondered how ironically cops get caught for the exact thing that they must be monitoring? Like this liquor smuggling, bribes. . .(so many more)
