Manimegalai is a famous television personality in the Tamil industry. She started her career as a show presenter for Sun Network and rose to fame through the blockbuster comedy cooking show, 'Cooku with Comali'. It is one of the shows that helped the channel to achieve its highest-ever viewership.

Manimegalai has been one of the comalis in the Cooku with Comali show ever since the first season debuted in 2019. The show completed three successful seasons and the fourth season is going on. Now, the actress broke the internet by announcing that she is quitting Cooku with Comali and yesterday was her last episode. It is worth mentioning that KPY Bala who was in the previous seasons was not a part of this season.

Manimegalai wrote on Instagram, "Today s My last Episode of Cook With Comali. Announcing “Naa varamaaten” in “Naane varuven” getup ;) Everyone of you has showered immense love Since 1st season from 2019 For all my Performances in CWC. So greatful for everything. I always take extra effort to be the best in whatever opportunities & Situations given to me. Hope i did konjam Justice in entertaining yu all in CWC too. And the love i received from yu all is Unexpected. Expecting to receive same love in Whatever i do 💛 With Love Mani" (sic). Fans are hugely disappointed regarding her sudden exit from the show.
