Wow ! Is this the salaries of ‘Cooku with Comali’ contestants?

The ‘Cooku with Comali’ show that first aired on Vijay TV in 2019 became an instant hit due to its fusion of comedy with cooking. Actress Vanitha Vijayakumar won the title with Ramya Pandian the runner up and both gained good mileage on show with the latter also going on to contest in ‘Bigg Boss 4’ as well.

‘Cooku With Comali’ season two is currently ruling the broadcast space in Tamil and three of its stars Pugazh, Shivaangi and Darsha Gupta have also signed films as well.  Among viewers there is great curiosity as to what is the salary of the stars and here is the info from our sources.

It is said that veteran actress Shakeela is the highest paid contestant in ‘Cooku With Comali’ getting a cool rupees 50 thousand per episode followed by Madurai Muthu and Baba Bhaskar who take home 40 thousand per episode.

Ashwin is reportedly getting rupees 25 thousand while Darsha Gupta and Pavithra Lakshmi are paid rupees 10 thousand each per episode.  Now the above are the cooks and now over to the Comalis.

Sources say that Manimegalai, Shivaangi and Sunitha are getting rupees 20 thousand with Pugazh and Bala pocketing rupees 15 thousand each per episode.  The same source adds that depending on the rising popularity of many of the stars their payment could shoot up as the season progresses.
