Nayanthara is currently busy promoting her Netflix India documentary Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairytale and penned an open letter to Dhanush today. The letter is going viral on social media. In her letter, Nayanthara slammed Dhanush for not letting her use film footage from Naanum Rowdy Dhaan.

Nayan alleged that Dhanush refused to give a no-objection certificate for using clips and songs from Naanum Rowdy Dhaan. Reportedly, they made repeated requests to Dhanush, but all of them went in vain. Nayanthara thinks that Dhanush has done all this with a personal vengeance.

Reportedly, Dhanush has slapped a legal notice for 10 Crores for a few-second video clip featuring between-the-sets visuals from Naanum Rowdy Dhaan in the trailer of her documentary.

“Through this letter, I only wish and pray that you come to peace with your inner self over the success of some people whom you knew from the past. The world is a big place, it’s meant for everyone." she wrote.

Nayan also lashed out at Dhanush saying, "I wish you were half the person you potray to be on stage in audio launches in front of your innocent fans but clearly you do not practice what you preach, atleast not for me and my partner."
