Kollywood's happening director Mysskin is in the news for using the word 'rape' rather casually on a public occasion.
Speaking at the audio launch event of 'Peranbu' on Monday, Mysskin was visibly upbeat about Mollywood actor Mammootty's performance in the movie. "Had he been a young woman, I might have fallen in love with him. Or if I were a girl, I would have raped him," the director said. "The flippant remark normalizes rape," says a commentator.
A couple of years ago, Salman Khan had commented that he felt like a raped women after working for hours on the sets of 'Sultan'. The National Commission for Women sent him a legal notice for using the word recklessly and insensitively.
