Director Ram Gopal Varma, who has directed numerous hit movies in Hindi and Telugu like Sathya, Company, Bhoot, Kshana Kshanam, Govinda Govinda etc celebrated his birthday yesterday.

Known for his controversial content in movies based upon real incidents and real people, the director often gets into trouble with his tweets as well. Recently he had took PM Modi's 9 PM 9 minutes activity by lighting cigarette which was criticised by many netizens.

Yesterday, the director tweeted a photo from the sets of Kaatru Veliyidai, where Aditi Rao Hydari is seen giving a rose to Maniratnam, and captioned it "First time I ever saw the super serious Mani Ratnam blushing ??". Maniratnam and Ram Gopal Varma have worked together in Thiruda Thiruda.
