The old controversial Facebook posts of Director Kittu of 'Methagu' fame on Nayanthara's personal life, caste remarks and political ideas has created a stir in Kollywood. These posts are going round the internet for the past two days and the director has finally opened up on the reasons behind these posts.

Recently he was criticized for making controversial remarks about caste and lady super star Nayanthara. The post had a pictures of Nayanthara with her ex boyfriends, and it was captioned with one of the famous verses from 'Bhagavath Geethai'

These pictures from 2019 were dug out by netizens and Kittu responded to the hate he was receiving for the couple of day. He made a video and posted it on his social media handle. He said " I posted some pictures in retaliation in the year 2019. Some of these images are modified by haters. My movie is doing good at box office and i thank everyone for making it a success."

Kittu directed a film about the life of LTTE leader Prabhakaran under the title 'Methagu' and the film managed to get 9.8 imbd rating. It was also appreciated by movie buffs for portraying the real story of Prabhakaran without any filter.
