A gossip item on Mahesh Babu has been purged out by Sakshi. The daily recently wrote a speculative article on the superstar's hair style. It said that many believe that the 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' actor had undergone a non-surgical hair-fixing job to get the attractive hairstyle.

The article, without quoting any credible source, made the empty gossip that many perceive the actor's hairstyle as an artificial thing.

The article didn't go down well with sections of Mahesh's fans, who trolled Sakshi and even made political rants against it.

It seems the editor of the newspaper felt the story should be pulled down in order to do some damage control. A Twitter user with more than 15,000 followers and with contacts in Sakshi claimed that the writer of the article has been sacked for the 'offensive' article. The claim needs to be verified.
