‘Panchakshi’ in editor’s lab

Anushka-starrer Panchakshari, the much-publicised graphics significant caper, is currently in Editor’s lab.  The film completed the shooting very recently and is slated for a release in April.

Directed by V Samudra and produced by Bommadevara Chandrarao, the film belongs to the fantasy genre.  The director has said that the film will have extraordinary scenes and story.  He says that Anushka’s characterisation and performance will be crucial.

The film will bear no resemblance as such to Arundhathi, says Samudra.  Madhu Vipparthi has lent the story.  It has dialogue by Thota Prasad, while music is by Chinni.  Akkineni Venkataratnam is producing the film.

Presented by Nagarjuna Akkineni, it has cinematography by Venu. The audio will be released in the first week of April.

The film happens to release close on the heels of other big ticket releases like Simha and Darling.  It is expected that the film is expected to give tough competition to these male-oriented films.
