Perhaps, there were few barriers while penning the polished version to suit Telugu style. ?Shifting the locations of 1980 and cultural adjustments weren?t really a good idea of savoring to the tastes of Tollywood audiences? said one of the closest sources.
Finally, producers backed off from remaking and instead dubbed it. The Telugu version is now titled as ?Ananthapuram 1980?. As Swathi haps to be a famous actress in town, producers are expecting good results for the film.
