Director Raj Madiraju announced the shooting schedule of his upcoming production Andhra Pori yesterday in the presence of cast and crew at Prasads Labs. The shooting for the movie will start on January 27, 2015 at Kothagudem Thermal Power Plant and Bhadrachalam.
Andhra Pori which is a remake of the successful Marathi film TimePass is being produced under the Prasad Productions banner and will be directed by Raj Madiraju of Rushi fame. The movie will star Akash Puri who has earlier donned the roles of young Mahesh Babu, Pawan Kalyan, and Ram Charan Tej. Award-winning actress Ulka Guptha who plays Jhansi Ki Rani on Zee TV will be playing Akash’s love interest in the film. The movie also features Dr Krishnaswamy Shrikanth Iyengar in the supporting role and will have cinematographer Praveen Vanamali behind the camera.
Ramesh Prasad, principal of Prasads Productions, blessed and encouraged the team members on the occasion. The director and producer had a meeting with the entire cast and crew, followed by team introductions during the announcement.
Andhra Pori is slated for a summer release as reported by sources.
