Direction is where Sundar?s heart is

He might be a successful actor. But Sundar C?s heart always beats for direction, a trade that initially took him to the masses.

?The filmmaker in me is always awake. But I am unable to direct a movie due to acting commitments. My wait is however all set to come to an end. After completing ?Guru Sishyan? and ?Vaada?, I would start wielding the megaphone again,? he says.

Elaborating on his plans, the actor-filmmaker says, ?The new film would be based on a knot that recently struck my mind. If things go as planned, the project would go on floors by January 2010.?

On his forthcoming film ?Vaada?, he says, ?it is a full length commercial entertainer by A Venkatesh, who is known for mass masala movies. Scenes involving me and Vivek have come out well.?
