Tamil cinema is always No:1 for me

Trust an actress who has strayed into even English cinema to say this! Actress Shriya might be on a roll, splashing her name in all cinemas beyond geographical barriers, but the actress says she is in her comfort zone best in Tamil. I really mean it when I say Tamil cinema is the best. I?m saying this because this is my identity in my acting career. People still recognize me as the Sivaji girl and you can divide my career into two halves: Before Sivaji and After Sivaji, says the lass, who has a beeline of projects lined up for the year.

Currently expecting the release of Kandasamy, starring Vikram and her, the actress has also completed work on the Vishal movie, Thoranai. Apart from these, she is paired with Dhanush for the flick, Kutty, and also has a film with Arya, Chikku Bukku.

As an actress who even changed the way glamour was perceived in the industry, Shriya still reiterates that she hasn?t done over the top glamour. No, I will never agree to it when I?m told I?m a very glamourous heroine. I wear only what looks good on me and my figure, she explains.
