‘Varanam Aayiram’, ‘Aegan’ in USA

‘Aegan’ and ‘Varanam Ayiram’ are slated for release on the 24th and 28th of October respectively. Latest developments are that Bharat Creations, a leading distributor of Tamil and Telugu films in the United States of America has acquired the distribution rights for these films. Vikram’s ‘Kandasamy’ and Vijay’s ‘Villu’ which would release much later have also been acquired by Bharat Creations.

Both ‘Varanam Ayiram’ and ‘Aegan’ are expected to do very well. Suriya is at his best in ‘Varanam Ayiram’, which chronicles the life of a man from childhood to old age. Suriya has undergone drastic physical changes to portray the physical characteristics associated with youth and middle age. Surya will be seen in dual roles. For director Gautham Menon this is his seventh film and his earlier movie with Suriya “Kaaka Kaaka” turned out to be a major blockbuster. The Gautham Menon – Harris Jayaraj – Suriya team is all set to recreate the magic once again. Sameera Reddy, Divya Spandana and Simran co-star with Suriya.

‘Aegan’ is the debut film for Raju Sundaram as director. The film stars Ajith and is the remake of the successful Hindi movie ‘Main Hoon Na’. Nayantara, Navdeep, Suhasini Ratnam, Nassar and Jayaram will also be seen in the film. The combo of Ajith and Nayantara is highly anticipated as both sizzled together in ‘Billa’. Ajith – Nayantara – Yuvan Shankar Raja, the people behind ‘Billa’ are expected to conjure the magic once again with ‘Aegan’.
