Actress Sneha has been assigned to don the lead role in a movie which is to be made simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu. This film is an inspired version of the Vijayashanthi starrer ‘Vyjayanthi IPS’ which was released in the 1980s.
The action-packed flick featuring Vijayashanthi as a honest police officer was loaded with action. She fought corrupt politicians and police officers in the movie. This performance fetched her the National Award for best actress.
Sneha has reportedly agreed to do the remake of the movie which would be directed by Aarthy Kumar. The latter had directed films including ‘Sound Party’ featuring Sathyaraj before.
