Following in the foot-steps of his younger brother Prabhu Deva, choreographer Raju Sundaram is all set to commence his debut directorial venture Jogi soon.
Starring Dhanush, the movie is a remake of the Kannada blockbuster of the same name.
The highlight is the movie would mark the comeback of former National award winning actress Archana to Tamil filmdom.
She is tipped to play Dhanush’s mother in the movie. Meanwhile, sources say the director has successfully convinced Meera Jasmine to play Dhanush’s heroine in the movie.
Meera Jasmine is currently shooting for Telugu movie with Balakrishna. Initially plans were on to cast Kuthu fame Ramya as heroine. Now Meera Jasmine seems to have pushed her aside.
