It's believed that the actor's strong criticism of the Chandrababu Naidu government has surprised many, enthused his support base, and unnerved the establishment. All eyes are now on the local polls which Jana Sena Party will contest.

As a commentator says, Pawan Kalyan now has a golden opportunity to convince the people that he is truly on his own. Any more dalliance with the TDP in the name of averting political instability might well be counter-productive for him.
