Yesterday morning the residents of Amanjikarai area in Chennai saw a huge container lorry stopped in the middle of the road due to a fault in its gearbox. What shocked them most was the vehicle was guarded by security personnel with guns in hands. Then news leaked out that the container was carrying cash to the tune of 2000 crores to be delivered at the Apex Branch of the Reserve Bank of India. Three such containers started from Mysore with large shipments of cash and while two of them reached the destination without any glitch the third one was stranded.

General public gathered in large numbers to see the container lorry and a traffice jam occurred and lasted for almost four hours while mechanics rectified the fault.
