Constable misbehaves with a female medical student

There has been a ruckus going on at the Government Nizamia General Hospital in Hyderabad since Tuesday. The Unani students at the medical college are demanding that the Ayurveda hospital be shifted to Erragadda.

During a protest on Wednesday, a group of students raised slogans. There was some mild commotion at the protest site. The police swung into action to take into custody a few of the protestors. A constable, who was in mufti, reportedly misbehaved with a female student by pressing her legs to the ground and scratching her with his fingernails.

The incident has led to some outcry since it involves someone from the police department and the victim is a woman.
