Mohammed Feroz Khan, who contested as Hyderabad MP in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections is a prominent Congress leader from Telangana. Previously, he contested as MLA of the Nampally Assembly Constituency in 2018.
In an exclusive chit-chat with IndiaGlitz, Khan spoke out against the AIMIM and also predicted that Revanth Reddy is going to be a sure-shot Chief Minister of Telangana in the future.
He alleged that fool-proof voting mechanisms during elections are coming into force. "In Nampally, about 25,000 bogus votes were cast in the previous election. With the linkage of Aadhar with electoral rolls, my rivals are going to lose at least 20,000 votes. That will ensure my victory in the next election," Khan said.
"When I entered politics, I decided that I will never be aligned to any religion or caste. I want Nampally to be corruption-free, drug-free, and rowdyism-free," Khan added.
Khan said that his aim is to become the Governor of Kashmir and end terrorism once and for all. "I will die as a proud Hindustani. That's my life. I am living for that dream. I am insane about doing something for my country. When I die, there should be a statue for me. My dream is to promote secularism and equality in our society," Khan said.
About the recent Tiger Raja Singh controversy, Khan said, "I am not angry with him. I am against his mindset. When Owaisi made a hate speech many years ago, I was the first one to slam him. Islam doesn't preach hatred. I am against the thought of fomenting divisions between Hindus and Muslims. I tell Raja Singh to prioritize development. He doesn't know anything about Islam and the Prophet. I have read Bhagavad Gita and I am a fan of the scripture. I have aksed many Muslims to read the beautiful Gita."
"If communal riots spring up in Hyderabad, the ones going to die are commoners, not VIPs. Raja Singh is a habitual offender. Had he not been arrested, the violence in Hyderabad would have been uncontrollable," Khan said.
There was a time when Khan joined PRP even though Chiranjeevi didn't invite him. "He is a great friend but he is not leader material. He is a very good person. I joined his party to bring change. He is a politician but not a leader. A true leader thinks like a statesman and the future generation," Khan said.
"Chiranjeevi garu never got involved in selling tickets (during 2009 elections). He and Allu Aravind don't need money. Others did so in the party," Khan said.
"Chandrababu Naidu is a rockstar. Jagan can be challenged if TDP, BJP and Jana Sena come together. Pawan Kalyan should do full-time politics. I don't agree that he has got no money. He has got loads of money. He is doing event management in politics. Just as Sharmila won't become Telangana CM, Pawan will never become CM of AP," Khan added.
