Congress leader demands 'national moustache' status

Congress Lok Sabha leader, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, has on Monday come up with a peculiar demand. He has sought the status of a national moustache for Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman, who was captured by the Pakistani army a day after the Balakot strikes in February.

The Congressman also said that the national hero should be awarded.

Many are trolling the parliamentarian for making the demand. "Why can't he sport his moustache in Abhinandan's style before demanding national status for it?" asked a Twitter user.
