First it was Mangal Pandey - The Rising and now it is Bhaggmati - The Queen Of Fortunes ! While the budget of Mangal Pandey dwindled between a low of 25 crore to a high of an astonishing 100 crores, the story seems to be getting repeated for lesser known and low profile release this Friday - Bhaggmati.

Apparently there have been conflicting reports in media about the budget of this half live - half animation movie. The interesting part is that variance in the numbers here are amazing as well. While at some places, the budget is said to be Rs. 5 crore [that seems near to being reasonable], at some places it has even been put as a staggering 35 crore.

With the producers of Mangal Pandey coming in open and declaring the movie's budget as approximately 35 crore, would Zee Telefilms [Bhaggmati's producers] also stand up and clarify the cost of the movie once for an all?
