Bollywood actress, Parineeti Chopra who is gearing up for her next upcoming film ‘Kesari’ which has Akshay Kumar too in the lead role, has an interesting news for all her fans! She is going to replace another amazingly talented actress, Shraddha Kapoor in the sports-biopic based on the ace badminton player Saina Nehwal.

Confirming the news, T-Series head, Bhushan Kumar on Friday had announced Parineeti's casting in the film but he did not share details of her role or reported anything regarding Shraddha's exit. One of the reasons of her exit is due to her over-flooded work schedule. The actress is said to have undergone a rigorous training for several months in order to get into the skin of the character and had started filming the Amol Gupte-directed movie in September. However, she was diagnosed with dengue two days after she started shooting and was advised to take rest. According to a source, "Despite everyone's best efforts... dates were clashing, so it made sense for Shraddha to opt out. The decision was taken by mutual consent.”

Meanwhile, Shraddha is currently busy shooting for her Remo D'Souza's dance film ‘Street Dancer’ with Varun Dhawan. She also has ‘Saaho’, ‘Chhichhore’ and ‘Baaghi 3’ in her pipeline.
