Comedian Karunaas is elated that his maiden venture in 'Dindigul Sarathy' as hero has managed good collections.

A remake of the Malayalam hit 'Vadakku Nokki Yanthram', the movie won rave reviews and women folk thronged in large numbers to the theatres to watch this close to life film.

An elated Karunaas says, 'all credit should go to my entire team. They had the confidence that we would make it big with 'Dindigul Sarathy'.

'I ventured to start a restaurant and then distributed films. Unfortunately, they all failed. However, I didn't lose my confidence and carried forward with high spirits. God has answered my prayers with 'Dindigul Sarathy'.

'Karunaas hopes to continue doing comedies. If the story is the hero, then I am ready to be part of the project', he says.
