Kamal Hassan’s recent statements in a famous magazine column about the inapropriateness of saying ‘there is no single hindu militant’ earned the actor flak from his ideological opponents.

Regarding this a complaint has been filed against Kamal by an advocate in the municipal magistrate court of Uttar Pradesh’s Varanasi district. The complainant petitioned the court to book the actor on five charges including religious slander and spreading misinformation among the masses. The court responded that the case will be taken to scrutiny tomorrow.

Stating that Kamal Hassan shouldn’t have voiced out such a controversial statement, the complainant also added that the statements hurt his sentiments. It is expected that we may receive more details about the progression of the case in the court tomorrow.
