Celeb couple Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal are rumoured to be tying the knot this week. Starting from today, the wedding is reported to be an extravagant affair for three days. A day ago, the couple was spotted at Mumbai report as they were leaving for Rajastham for the grand wedding. The wedding festivities starting with sangeet, mehendi followed by the marriage ceremony — will be held from December 7 to 9. Owing to the couple's wedding at centuries old Chauth Mata temple in Sawai Madhopur, the road leading to the temple has been allegedly closed. Ahead of the wedding, now a Rajasthan-based advocate named Naitrabind Singh Jadoun has filed a complaint with the District Legal Services Authority against the closure of the road leading to the temple. The complaint has been filed against the manager of Six Senses Fort Barwara, the venue for the celebrity wedding, Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal and the District Collector. On behalf of the devotees, a request has also been made to open the way to the temple, as every day hundreds of people visit the temple.
"Chauth Ka Barwara accommodates a historical temple of Chauth Mata, which is centuries old. Everyday, hundreds of devotees visit the temple and offer their prayers. Hotel Six Senses is located on the way to the temple. The hotel manager has closed the road leading to the temple under the supervision of the District Collector from December 6-12. Due to this, the devotees are facing a lot of trouble in reaching the temple. For the next six days, the main road leading from Hotel Six Senses to the temple will be completely closed. In such a situation, keeping in mind the sentiments of the common man and the devotees, the way to the Chauth Mata temple should be opened from the front side of Hotel Six Senses," Jadaun said in his complaint.
Soon after the intimate wedding with only family and close friends in attendance, the couple will also be hosting a reception for the film industry colleagues in Mumbai. Stay tuned!
