Suddenly there is a rage for Vikram in Tollywood.

Ever since his dubbed films started doing well here there has been a steady stream of offers to him. The fact that he won a national award in the interregnum, his appeal has only enhanced.

Vikram has also kept himself in the limelight by dropping the right 'bytes' for the media. He kept the Tollywood producers interested by saying that he wants to do at least one original Telugu film a year.

This has meant that every producer worth his film roll in Tollywood has knocked on his doors. His last dubbed Telugu film was Samurai with Jaya Ray and Anitha. This film, directed by Balaji Shakthivel, had music by Harris Jayaraj.

Intriguingly, Vikram, much before he became a star in Tamil, won his spurs in Telugu through films like Adavalla Majaka and Thommidi Nelalu.

To cut a long story short, after a Aparachitudu, Vikram has decided to take on Telugu on board. The film is to be directed by a leading Telugu producer hailing from Tirupati. The story discussions are going. It is expected to be a mega budget one.

With Vikram known for his acting, dance and fights, some leading lights of Tollywood are worried by his potential arrival.
