Compassion has no region

They say hatred is all-consuming and doesn't differentiate between human beings.
Compassion is also no different. It flows free and has the energy of a, er, tsunami.
Wondering why this labored intro for a film news item? Well, there is reason. Recently, megastar Chiranjeevi donated Rs.10 lakh for tsunami relief.
What's new, almost every one has done that, you may very well say.
The point here is that Chiranjeevi presented Rs.10 lakh to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister for relief in this State and Rs. 10 lakh to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa. He handed this cheque over to her in Chennai.
Chiru had a reason for this. He said he had begun his career in Tamil Nadu and was connected with the people of that State. "So I had to do something for them when they suffered""
