Comedian's sexist tweet condemned

Vivekh, one of the most popular character artists in South India, was patently sexist in wishing kids a happy summer on Wednesday. He tweeted, “Dear students and kids! Despite summer, enjoy your vacation. Drink lots of water after playing. Girls, be helpful to your moms in the kitchen and learn cooking. Boys, go to your dad's workplace and see how he works for your family! Bond thickens!"
The comedian's formula for family bonhomie reeks of patriarchal thinking, his critics have said. 'Should girl children continue to confine themselves only to the kitchen even in the 21st Century?' some of them have asked.
However, Vivekh later noted, "Truth alone triumphs. People who know me take me in the right sense. I am like a river which keeps on flowing. Some throw flowers, some pebbles! River never stops moving. Because every moment is a gift and I celebrate it. Sorry, I am busy spreading love!"
