Recently, a budding stand-up comedian named Manoj Prabakar from Tamil Nadu passed derogatory comments on Mahesh Babu's acting skills. He has since been trolled by the actor's fans on social media.
Days after the controversy broke out, the comedian has apologized to the Tollywood superstar and his fans. He said that the stature of the persons mocked in that show doesn't come down just because of the mocking. "I have watched only the Tamil version of 'SPYder' and my comments pertain to only that. Whatever I have said in the video is completely my opinion and the remarks during the show were not intended to offend anybody," he wrote on Facebook.
He added that he has been receiving a number of messages targeting him and his family members and friends.
"If at all if anything was hurtful or if it did hurt anyone’s sentiment, then it wasn’t intentional and my sincere SORRY and APOLOGIES for the same. I sincerely hope this clarifies everything and you all will consider this. So I believe everything will stop from now and we can move on with our lives. Thank you very much for your kind understanding," Manoj said in a fresh post.
