Comedian Actor Bonda Mani Passes Away at 60 Due to Health Complications

Renowned comedian Bonda Mani died on December 23rd after complications arising out of his prolonged health-related troubles at the age of 60. He fainted when he was in his house on that fateful night in Pozhichalur, a Chennai suburb, following terminal excretory problems.
Mani collapsed and was immediately rushed to Chrompet government hospital. After a medical examination, the doctors pronounced him dead. Currently, his mortal remains have been kept in his Pozhichalur residence for paying respects, and around 5 PM, his final rites are scheduled at a Chrompet crematorium. He is survived by his wife, Malathi, along with a son and daughter.
Earlier this year, actors Dhanush and Vijay Sethupathi donated Rs 1 lakh each towards Bonda Mani's medical treatment. Besides, Vadivelu, his long-time collaborator in the Tamil film industry, had extended financial assistance for his treatment.
Bonda Mani is a popular Tamil actor, and he gained fame because of his humorous roles in Tamil cinema. He often appears with Vadivelu in the comedy sequence. Having a long-spanned career, he played many Tamil movies with top-star actors.
