Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor, husband of yesteryear lady Superstar Sridevi had recently entered Kollywood with the movie Ner Konda Paarvai, the Tamil remake of Bollywood hit movie Pink. Ner Konda paarvai starred Ajith, Shraddha Srinath and Vidya Balan and was a success.

Next Boney Kapoor is producing two movies, Thala Ajith's 60th movie AK60 which is again directed by Ner Konda Paarvai director H Vinoth and is also producing the Hindi movie Maidaan directed by Amit Sharma, which is the Bollywood debut of actress Keerthy Suresh.

The latest speculation making rounds is that Boney Kapoor has bought the remake rights of the recent hit movie Comali starring Jayam Ravi, Kajal Aggarwal, Samyuktha Hegde and Yogi Babu, and that the Hindi version will have his son Arjun Kapoor playing the lead. An official announcement on this remake is expected soon.
