Colours Swathi plays teacher in GHC

After playing naughty and bubbly roles in the early days of her career, Swathi is slowly getting ready to do performance-oriented roles to prove her acting abilities. In ‘Golconda High School’, she had a complete makeover of character and is playing the role of an English teacher.

She is going to sport traditional saris in this film all through the movie. She is teaming up with Indraganti Mohanakrishna, who had directed one of her hit films ‘Ashta Chemma’ last year.

Sumanth plays the hero in this film which has cricket in its backdrop. It is learnt that the film is based on a novel ‘Men Within’ and Sumanth is playing the role of a cricket coach to a team of students.

Kalyani Mallik scored music for the movie and the audio was out a few days ago.

Two months cricket training for GHS team: Sumanth

We hear that the whole 'Golconda High School' star cast had to undergo two months rigorous cricket coaching at M L Jayasimha cricket academy in Secunderabad to get the shots of the movie right. Since Cricket is a popular game, the movie unit didn't want to take chances and hence took coaching to look authentic on screen.

Gaganam release on Feb 4

Nagarjuna starer bilingual movie 'Gaganam' will release on February 4th.The movie stars Poonam Kaur and Prakash Raj also in the lead and is being directed by Tamil director Radha Mohan. Though Gaganam was supposed to release earlier, it got delayed due to technical problems. Since 'Ragada' was also up for release, Nagarjuna had asked 'Gaganam' team to release it in February.
