Simran, the fine actor, dons a colourful role in a TV serial. Pyramid Saimira launches Simran Thirai, a mini mega series, which launches the famous actor Simran into small screen.

The series will have a mini serial per month with one story running for a month. The stories are selected from many writers and will be directed by different directors. Simran will handle the protagonist’s role in each story.

Pyramid Saimira Production International Limited arranged a press meet to officially announce the news. P.S. Swaminathan, K.S. Srinivasan, Subha Venkat (Pyramid) and Simran addressed the gathering that took place in Hotel Residency Towers, Chennai on february 27.

Subha Venkat, the Creative Head of Pyramid Saimira Production International Limited, informed the press that “Simran Thirai is a unique project that will churn out new stories every month, outlining varied and innovative roles for the protagonist (Simran)”.

The series will be aired in Jaya TV from March 3 during the prime time 8.30 PM – 9 PM daily. The roles portrayed by Simran will have diverse dimensions of a modern day woman, she added.

Another uniqueness of the series is that every story will have by a different director and technicians to give a distinct cinematic flavour to the programme.
