Colors
In Mollywood, the tide finally seems to have changed in Dileep's favor. The actor who had a very poor start in the first half of the last year compensated towards the end with his production venture 'Twenty: 20' the multistarrer which ended up as a super success. The actor was more than happy when his Christmas release 'Crazy Gopalan' - a film which kicked off much problems in Mollywood, was also equally lapped up by the audience. And now to set the box office counters tickling is the new flick from him which will arrive in a week, Titled 'Colors', the movie directed by Raj Babu has a military camp as it major backdrop and was shot mainly at Ooty and Koonnur.
Dileep who is for the first time playing a Navy officer Sanjay in the movie, has sported a macho look for the flick. The movie focuses of the life of Lt colonal Rajalekshmy, a doctor at the military hospital. Her two daughters Pooja and Pinky are of contrasting characters. While the former is a relatively silent lady is mature enough to act intellectually, the later is little tomboyish, and impulsive in her manners. Pinky is presently the leading compere of the popular channel in the town.
Pinky who runs the show 'Colors' has two close aides in Rahul (Vinoo Mohan), the cameraman of the show and Gopi (Harishree Ashokan) who are with her for everything and anything. As Sanjay arrives to their household, the lives of every one in the house changes drastically.
Rajbabu who has created a hit with Dileep earlier in 'Chess' is pretty confident that this hilarious movie will also work in his favour. Also in the cast of this movie are Cochin Haneefa, Sadhique, Venkat Bose, Innocent, Jayakrishnan, Maya Viswanath and Krishna. Scripted by V C Ashok, Saloo George cranks the camera for 'Colors' while Suresh Peters is in charge of the music department.
'Colours' is produced by M Mani in the banner of Sunitha Productions.
