As reported earlier today, an Indian Army Colonel and two soldiers were on Monday night killed in action during a clash with China's troops. The incident happened at one of the standoff points in the Galwan Valley, Ladakh.
News emerges that Colonel Santosh Babu, who belongs to Telangana's Suryapeta, was martyred.
As per media reports so far, Santosh Babu and the two jawans were martyred in a hand-to-hand combat.
At least five soldiers of the Chinese PLA were eliminated by our Army, unconfirmed reports say.
