Coimbatore woman kills Husband, attempts suicide!

Police have reported that, a 34 year old woman from Coimbatore had tried to escape from her husband who began attacking her under the influence of alcohol, and during the attempt to escape, got into a fight following which she had killed her husband and later tried to commit suicide by consuming poison.

Baburaj(37) had got separated from his wife Bakkiyam before few months and had been living with another woman. Yesterday, he had went to see Baakiyam and after a quarrel, tried to attack her with the bottle in his hand, and in retaliation, Bakkiyam hit him with a rod, following which he fell dead.

Terrified by her own act, Baakkiyam tried to kill herself by drinking poison. Their daughter, who saw this incident called the neighbors  following which they were taken to hospital where the doctors declared that Baburaj was dead already, while Bakkiyam is still fighting for her life.
