The Arjun Mathur starrer romantic drama saw some real life drama as Elephants stormed the sets at night at the coffee plantations in Coorg.

More often than not, on-location shooting is quite the challenge. And if your location is amidst lush coffee plantations, there is surely going to be some excitement. And that`s exactly what happened on the sets of the soon to release film, Coffee Bloom. Starring Arjun Mathur and Sugandha Ram, the film was being shot in the interiors of Coorg, Karnataka, when the sets had unexpected guests - Elephants!

Here`s what happened. At night, when the cast and crew would shoot in the jungle area, their shooting would often be disrupted by elephants. So much so that, they would have to halt the filming till the time the elephants left the location. Though the crew would get bit apprehensive even after the animals would leave, they would again muster courage and complete the shooting.

Talking about this incident, actress Sugandha reminisces, "We were told that the plantation gets attacked by wild elephants. I remember waking up one morning and being told the place had been ransacked by 4 elephants in the night. It was very exciting."

Coffee Bloom` is the story of Dev Anand (Arjun Mathur), who is a self proclaimed wise man and has given up on life as a result of a love gone wrong. A life changing event takes him on a journey to a coffee plantation. There he meets Anika, his long lost love, currently his boss. Love blooms in an idyllic setting, bringing Dev out of his self imposed funk and Dev finds a new reason to live. Coffee Bloom also stars veteran actor Mohan Kapoor and Bengali actress Ishwari Bose in supporting roles.

Starring Arjun Mathur, Sugandha Ram and Mohan Kapoor, the film is all set to hit theatres in India, US and Canada on March 6, 2015.
