‘CoCo Kokila’ release date announced officially

Announcing the release of ‘CoCo Kokila’ (dubbed version of ‘Kolamaavu Kokila’) on August 31, Lyca Productions has described Nayanthara as a South Indian lady superstar whose performance in the film has received accolades from the likes of Rajinikanth, Shankar and Karan Johar.  

“Our film is a dark comedy.  It’s about an ordinary girl who is trapped by a smuggling gang.  Yogi Babu’s comedy is enjoyable,” the makers have said.

This female-centric drama has music by Anirudh Ravichander.  Saranya and Aranthangi Nisha have supporting roles.  S Shivaji, Cheenu Mohan, Hareesh Peradi, Naan Kadavul Rajendran, Jacqueline, Anbu Thasan and others are part of the cast.  

The Tamil original has been a box-office hit.
