One of the upcoming big films that has huge expectations riding on it is 'Cobra' directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu which has Chiyaan Vikram donning several getups. The first look poster and the teaser have upped the ante sky high but the shooting of the film was stalled due to the coronavirus pandemic. Vikram's commitment to Mani Ratnam's 'Ponniyin Selvan' also pushed the film further.

Now the hot update is that all decks have been cleared and the 'Cobra' team is currently in Russia and have already begun the final leg of shooting for the film. Vikram posed for a selfie with a Russian fan and former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan who plays the antagonist also shared a pic that he has joined the team for the shoot.

The major portion of the shooting of 'Cobra' is at the world-renowned St. Petersberg University in Russia and it is said to be a month long schedule there. The film produced by Seven Screen Studios has music score by A.R. Rahman and the cast comprises of Vikram, Srinidhi Shetty, Irfan Khan, Mia George and Robo Shankar.
