If the teaser for 'Cobra' stated that every problem has a mathematical solution, the trailer goes many steps ahead in introducing the dark nature of its protagonist. Actor Vikram plays a mathematical genius who is also a master of disguises. A defining nature of the trailer is the number of looks he gets into, trying everything from comedy to betrayal and anger in them.

Helmed by Ajay Gnanamuth, the action thriller seems to be loaded with unusual elements. The custodial torture that the protagonist is meted out makes him look vulnerable. He is a genius who breathes numbers every second of his life. There is also a love story, when the mood turns light.

AR Rahman's music is billed as a key highlight. Srinidhi Shetty and former cricketer Irfan Pathan have key, undisclosed roles. KS Ravikumar, Roshan Mathew, Anandraj, Robo Shankar, Mia George, Mirnalini Ravi, and Meenakshi Govindrajan are part of the cast. Harish Kannan is its director of photography. Production Design is by A Amaran, while action choreography is by Dhilip Subbarayan.

The film will hit the screens in Telugu and Tamil on Aug 31. The Telugu version is relesed by NV Prasad's NVR Cinema.
