Cobra is an upcoming action thriller film of Chiyan Vikram directed by R. Ajay Gnanamuthu and produced by S. S. Lalit Kumar, under the banner 7 Screen Studio. Chiyaan Vikram's 'Cobra' is censored with U/A and has a runtime of almost three hours. The spy thriller has a run time of 2 hours and 55 minutes.

The film has an ensemble cast with Vikram in the title role along with Srinidhi Shetty Miya George, Roshan Mathew, Sarjano Khalid, Padmapriya, Mohammad Ali Baig, Kaniha, Mirnalini Ravi, Meenakshi and K. S. Ravikumar in supporting roles.

Cobra also has cricketer Irfan Pathan playing an important role. The film marks his movie debut and the Tamil debut of KGF star Srinidhi Shetty. The technical team of this movie consists of Harish Kannan and Bhuvan Srinivasan for cinematography and editing respectively

AR Rahman has scored the music for Cobra marking his first collaboration with director Ajay Gnanamuthu. It is also his fourth film starring Vikram after Pudhiya Mannargal (1994), Raavanan (2010) and I (2015).
