Coachella 2024 Promises Blockbuster Performances with Doja Cat, Tyler, the Creator, and Lana Del Rey

Doja Cat, Tyler, the Creator, and Lana Del Rey have been revealed as the headline acts for this year’s Coachella festival. The event, spanning two weekends in April in Indio, California, boasts a diverse lineup that includes Skepta, Raye, Flo, and The Last Dinner Party, winners of the BBC Sound of 2024.

Known not only for its musical prowess but also for attracting influencers, Coachella promises the return of Gwen Stefani’s No Doubt after nearly a decade. The band shared their excitement on Instagram, inviting fans to join them “in the desert.” 

Flo expressed their enthusiasm with a spirited “FLOCHELLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA,” and The Last Dinner Party playfully declared, “United States, we just can’t keep our paws off you,” accompanied by a video chat confirming their performance.

Additionally, Canadian Punjabi artists AP Dhillon and rapper Nav, along with Indian Carnatic musician Sid Sriram, are set to grace the Coachella stages. The inclusion of AP Dhillon is particularly noteworthy, following the success of Diljit Dosanjh as the first Punjabi artist at Coachella last year, contributing to increased South Asian representation.

DJ Yusuf Suavé from RepresentAsian commended AP Dhillon’s achievement, emphasizing the importance of more inclusive festival line-ups. The 2023 festival faced challenges with headliners, as Frank Ocean withdrew from the second weekend due to a leg injury, replaced by Blink-182.

Coachella 2024 is scheduled for April 12-14 and 19-21, featuring Lana Del Rey on Fridays, Tyler, The Creator on Saturdays, and Doja Cat headlining the Sunday shows.
