CM understands film industry’s problems comprehensively: Chiranjeevi

Hours after calling on AP CM Jaganmohan Reddy in Vijayawada, Chiranjeevi put out a social media statement, saying that the CM comprehensively understands the issues that Tollywood has been grappling with. The ‘Acharya’ actor said that the government is thinking up solutions from all angles.

The ‘Bholaa Shankar’ actor said that the talks between the industry and government took place in a very conciliatory and congenial environment. He added that the CM has assured that the government will always be there for the industry.

Earlier today, Prabhas, Mahesh Babu and SS Rajamouli thanked Chiranjeevi for leading from the front. The ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’, in his tweet thanking Jagan, wrote, “It was an absolute delight to meet you and to know your knowledge about the problems our industry is facing. We are full of hope that you will find a solution with fine balance.”

Rajamouli said that he is amazed by Jagan’s deep understanding of the functioning of the film industry. “He patiently discussed the problems of big producers, small producers and exhibitors alike,” the ‘RRR’ director said.
