One of the popular heroines of Tamil cinema in the 80s, actress Sripriya has been known for acting in movies of top heroes of the times, and she has acted with Kamal Haasan in movies like Alavudinum Arputha Vilakkum, Vaazhve Maayam, Aval Oru thodarkathai, Ilamai Oonjaladugirathu and many more.

Sripriya is now one of the prominent members of Kamal Haasan's Makkal Needhi Maiam party and has been actively involved in the party activities. Now Sripriya has trolled Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy with her latest tweet, referring to an old speech of him.

The chief minister had said recently that Kamal Haasan reads whatever someone else writes and gives him, and in reply to this, Sripriya has questioned in her tweet if the CM knows who wrote Ramayana. This was her troll on Edappadi Palanisamy in reference to his speech where he said Sekkizhar had wrote Kambaramayanam.
