'Climax' was widely publicised  as one movie that was supposed to tell some real stories about the life of the sexy siren Silk Smitha, who met with an untimely death. But the movie from director Anil, hardly shows any big resemblance with the life of one of the most exploited actresses of the filmdom,
ending up as a mediocre affair.

Bollywood star Sana khan comes up in the lead role, as Poonkodi in the movie. A poor maid who works for the famous star Aparna, she is an orphan reared by her step mother. Her aspiration to try a hand in movies found expression as one director Victor(Irshad), pops up in her hut for a screen test. Finding her impressive, she rechristens her as Supriya, and within no time becomes one of the most wanted stars of the South.

But in her personal front she gets emotionally exploited as she chance upon a businessman Ramkumar(Suresh Krishna), popularly known as RK and develops an interest for his caring nature. Soon she becomes her adviser and together they starts sharing his big bungalow in Chennai. As they live together , comes in an young guy named Rahul, who also falls heads over heels for the charm of the glamour queen. But little does Supriya realizes that Rahul is the only son
of RK.

The movie doesn't offer any big surprises and ends up as another average fare with below par, much seen plot-lines by Antony Eastman and kaloor Dennis and forgettable dialogues.

Reminding of many adult rated flicks, the movie doesn't have any fine research even while dealing with the life of a real life star. Even the lead star Sanakhan is average at best and shows her mettle when a skin show is demanded. The few songs in the movie are pleasant hear but just become a vehicle for some skin shows. Suresh Krishna is in a better role and performance, while Subin Sunny as Rahul is really poor in displaying emotions.

All in all, this `Climax' is just a mediocre film, that has nothing exceptional to offer.
