Ram Gopal Varma in an interview with a media house, revealed about his Climax film, releasing on RGV's World section on Shreyas ET app, online. The movie is first Indian film to release in Pay-Per-View style which Kamal Haasan thought about bringing to Indian Cinema, 8 years ago with Viswaroopam.
Any person has to pay Rs.100/- to watch the film on the app. RGV taking about the film said that it is a new age horror film about a couple stranded in a desert.
He said that he shot the film in 30 days in USA and it is a visual treat. He wanted to explore how a couple stranded on a desert by the side of an oasis would feel and made it. He also said that with the growth in technology of filmmaking, people don't have to be on sets of all of their movies and he doesn't.
He commented that the Film Industry will see more and more OTT releases with small budget films finding this platform more profitable. He also said that the content oriented films can bank on this platform while Big Ticket films will keep Theatres going.
In his own style, he said that he doesn't care about release or response to his films as he makes films for his satisfaction and not for appreciation. He invited people with his sensibilities to enjoy content on his "RGV's World" app.
