The combination of K.Vijaybhaskar & Sravanthi Ravikishore immediately brings to mind memorable films like Nuvve Kavali and Nuvvu Naaku Nachhav. Both films were scintillating commercial hits with superb linegering music and moments.

Now after a brief hiatus, the successful combination come together again, the third time, with Classmates. This time their film also features another hit pair Sumanth & Kamalini Mukherji whose last film Godavari was a huge success, especially in the US.

Classmates, like Nuvvekavali is also a remake of a supremely successful Malayalam film.

Keeping with the tradition of Sravanthi films Classmates has rich musical fare and promises to be a thoroughly entertaining film with a tinge of suspense. K.Vijayabhaskar who also has to his credit super hits like Manmadhudu, Malliswari exuded confidence that this will be a film that proudly stands alongside all his earlier popular films.

KAD Imagilight Entertainment that has a long association with Sravanthi Movies and distributed most of their films, besides trendsetting films like Anand, Nuvvosthanante.., Godavari etc., will be distributing Classmates too in the overseas markets.

Classmates will be arriving in cinemas worldwide on the 20th April 2007. Sarvanand, Sada, Sunil are the other principle cast. The music is by Koti, another Sravanthi regular and scored the music for Nuvve Kavali and Nuvvu Naaku Nachav too.
