After a while a film which shows some promises to the young stars is getting released this weekend. Classmates - the film by Lal Jose with Prithviraj, Naren, Jayasuriya,Indrajith and Kavya Madhavan will be released in 48 centers all over the state on August 24. Though Classmates is a campus based movie, this is not going to be sugar candy romance movie as usual.

It is based on an occasion of the old students of a campus get together after a long time in college to regurgitate the past and go nostalgic.

Lal Jose's intention is to throw in emotion and suspense as well as the color and gaiety of campus life of the late nineties. The campus scenes which were shot at CMS College, Kottayam lends the perfection of a Lal Jose movie. The director who is for the first time into a campus movie has included 5 songs in the film set to music by Alex Paul. The film may prove fruitful to the second row heroes because Lal creations which have a clean continuous hit record in Malluwood are distributing the film, with much publicity campaigns.
