Classmates continues to rule

Classmates is continuing to rule the box office as it is having a stunning initial at the box office. Every other Onam films that died earlier have catapulted the film to such a big earner that it may even surpass the total earning of the previous record holder Rajamanikyam.

The only film that posed any fight with Classmates was the hit Keerthi Chakra which is into its 75th day this weekend. Classmates in its run of 42 days have already bagged in around 4 crores as gross collections. In major centres it has made a collection of around 45 lakhs as gross.

But the future of the collection trend of the Classmates may suffer as the Ramzan Diwali releases are coming up in ten days. It is also having a classic showdown of every stars of Malluwood. The season will see the release of Pothen Vava by Mammootty, and Photographer by Mohanlal. Also in the competition is Bada Dost by Suresh Gopi.
